The first anniversary of Germany's worst-ever school shooting dominated the news on Thursday. A memorial in the southern town of Winnenden was attended by students of the Albertville secondary school, relatives of the victims, local residents as well German president Horst Koehler. This mourner holds a banner that reads: " Why was yesterday. Today we are strong."
